Honduras has a negative goal difference that will make their qualification difficult despite being tied in points with the mighty USA.
Mexico has nothing left to play for but the building of team chemistry while maintaining the expected standard of the Mexican team. Next for Mexico is a Trinidad and Tobago side that will only survive if they are to get a victory in this fixture. It will be a difficult job for a Trinidad and Tobago side that has only managed just a victory in this round of the CONCACAF qualifiers to beat a Mexican side that has a strong home record.
Costa Rica has a foot in the World Cup. A victory at home over Honduras will see Costa Rica in the World Cup. Even a point from a draw might be enough.
Panama visits United States with a point more accumulated in the group. A Panama victory in addition to a Costa Rica victory will see the Panamanians in the World Cup. As a CONCACAF giant, this is a match that United States can’t afford to lose.
