Matches

Coming our way this weekend (Weekend Bangers) – Classic rivalry, a top four finish, and a battle to stay in the top flight.

Keep these fixtures safe

Manchester United (2nd) vs Liverpool (3rd) (English Premier League)
A second place finish is on the line when these two rival teams meet. A defeat at home will mean that Manchester United will lose the 2-point advantage they have over a Liverpool side that will be needing a victory to secure their place in the league standings. To come out of this fixture without a victory will open Liverpool up for a Tottenham Hotspur away victory against Bournemouth to drag them a point down in the league table.

Sevilla (5th) vs Valencia (4th) (Spanish La Liga)
A victory at home against Valencia will see Sevilla cut the gap between themselves and the ‘top four’ in the league standings down to 5 points. This is Sevilla’s best chance to get closer to a direct qualification spot in the UCL. Valencia can’t afford a slip-up if they want to remain on the tail of Real Madrid.

Inter Milan (5th) vs Napoli(1st) (Italian Serie A)
Juventus has a match in hand and only a point behind Napoli in the league standings. Napoli can’t afford a consecutive defeat in the league to be title contenders. An Inter Milan team that is playing in front of a home crowd will be looking to impact the title race and help secure their position in the league.

Borussia Dortmund (3rd) vs Eintracht Frankfurt (4th) (German Bundesliga)
Goal difference is what is separating these two teams in the league standings. Despite being undefeated this year, Borussia Dortmund is winless in their last two league matches. There couldn’t be a better time for a league victory for Dortmund.
Borussia Dortmund has been strong at home with the backing of their supporters, while all of Eintracht Frankfurt recent defeats have been in away matches. This is a match that Frankfurt will be going in with caution.

Werder Bremen (14th) vs FC Koln (18th) (German Bundesliga)
A battle at the bottom end of the German Bundesliga table.
Werder Bremen will want the win to move further away from the relegation zone, while FC Koln will be looking to help themselves to a victory that could possibly see them climb from the bottom of the league table while keeping Werder Bremen as an option for relegation.
