They got a permanent manager and Real Madrid begins to put the pressure on him.
It was another embarrassing result for Real Madrid after a ‘3-0’ defeat to Eibar. It was a missed opportunity to move into the ‘top four’ in the league for a Real Madrid side that had been winning every match since new manager Santiago Solari took over the reins.

Real Betis went from a historic win at the Camp Nou against Barcelona to a ‘2-1’ defeat at ‘El Madrigal ‘against Villarreal.

Atletico Madrid and Barcelona dropped points in a ‘1-1’ draw for Sevilla to move to the top of the league table through a ‘1-0’ home victory against Real Sociedad. Ousmane Dembele rescues a point for Barcelona after Atletico Madrid almost stole 3 points from a match that was tipped to play a deciding role in the title race.

Cristhian Stuani scored two early goals to move to the top of the ‘golden boot’ while guiding Girona to a ‘3-1’ away victory against Espanyol.
