Edinson Cavani scored the only goal of the match to see Paris St. Germain bounce back from their first league defeat with a win against Bordeaux. Cavani had to sit out for the second-half after picking up an injury. He is a doubt for PSG’s Champions League match against Manchester United on Tuesday.

Montpellier moved up to 4th in the league after a draw with Monaco. Andy Delort had to restore parity on two occasions for Montpellier.

Three straight league matches without a win for Saint-Etienne after conceding 3 goals at Rennes without a response.

Lyon went from handing PSG their first league defeat to defeat at Nice. Remi Walter converted a penalty to a goal in the 69th minute to hand Nice a win against Lyon.
