The postponement of matches over the last couple of weeks has left the current standings of the French Ligue 1 incomplete before the winter break.

Regardless of what the recent postponement of matches in recent weeks have had on the French Ligue 1 standings, Paris St. Germain remains top of the table.
With two matches in hand, Paris St. Germain is 13-points clear at the top of the table after Kylian Mbappe’s goal handed the team a victory over Nantes.

Lyon and Montpellier share the points after a goal each in the second-half but Montpellier’s advantage is the possible 3 points they can recover from their two games in hand.

Lille is currently 2nd in the standings is Lille with 34 points from 19 matches, but has played the most matches out of the teams in the top four in the league standings.
Should current 3rd place Lyon make their match in hand count, they will leap above Lille by a point. Should current 4th place Montpellier make both of their matches in hand count, they would also leap over Lille and Marseille.

Nice suffer their first defeat in 10 matches at Strasbourg. Marseille avoided defeat to Angers but dropped points to contend for a ‘top four’ spot. Monaco is beaten at home by bottom table Guingamp. Caen concedes in the second half to share the points with Reims.
