Montpellier was denied the opportunity to rise to the second-place in the league standings after they suffered an away defeat to Angers. With Lille being held to a goalless draw at home by Strasbourg, the opportunity was open for Montpellier.

Three goals in 10 minutes was how Lyon turned the match in their favor after an early goal had given Guingamp a lead that lasted over an hour. Guingamp remains at the bottom of the league standings after 13 rounds with just a win to their name.

Nimes misses a chance to take the lead when an early penalty wasn’t converted into a goal. Nice beats a 9-man Nimes side to make it 3 wins in a row in Ligue 1.

Saint-Etienne doubled the point-gap between themselves and Reims after a ‘2-0’ home victory.
A ‘1-0’ allowed Amiens move a point away from Toulouse.

Nantes get a draw at Rennes to stay unbeaten in the last 4 league matches (3W 1D).

Marseille put an end to a short run of defeat and goalless games in the league after a ‘2-0’ home victory against Dijon.

13 wins and 13 points clear at the top of Ligue 1. Surely, Paris St. Germain is on their way to secure the league title.
Paris St. Germain made it 13 wins out of their opening 13 matches in the league after dropping 4 goals on Monaco.

How long will Thierry Henry’s managerial debut last?
