2017/18 UEFA Champions League Quarter-finals (first-leg) – Cristiano Ronaldo scores a spectacular goal as Real Madrid humiliates Juventus in Turin

Juventus vs Real Madrid
Cristiano Ronaldo was the star in Real Madrid’s victory at Turin over Juventus. His spectacular overhead kick goal was the highlight of Real Madrid’s ‘3-0’ away victory. Ronaldo’s second goal was admired by fans of sides as he received an ovation after giving Madrid a 2 goal lead. Marcelo scored the third goal for Real Madrid to go back to the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu with a lead that is sure to see them in the semi-finals.

Sevilla vs Bayern Munich
Bayern Munich avoided an upset at Seville by coming from a goal down to win by a goal.
Pablo Sarabia lead for Sevilla was canceled out just about 6 minutes later when Franck Ribery’s goal was deflected into Sevilla’s net by Jesus Navas.
Thiago Alcantara found the winning goal in the second-half for Bayern to secure an away victory. Bayern Munich will need to be on their best form to avoid an upset in the second-leg.

Barcelona vs Roma
Two own-goals handed Roma a 2-goal deficit before Gerard Pique and Luis Suarez added a goal each for Barcelona to take a ‘4-1’ lead to the second leg in Rome. Lionel Messi wasn’t on the scoresheet for Barcelona, but as always, he was instrumental in their success.

Liverpool vs Manchester City
Attacking football was on display and Liverpool came out on top in a consecutive match against Manchester City. Three first-half goals handed Liverpool a ‘3-0’ home victory to take away to the away leg in Manchester. Even those who tipped Liverpool to win this match didn’t think with would be by as many goals without conceding any.
Usual suspect Mohamed Salah opened the scoring for Liverpool before Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain doubled the lead with what is probably his best goal for the club to date. Sadio Mane headed in the third for Liverpool to conclude the goal scoring in the match before the halftime break.
